Offers for students

Here you will find information on various offerings, courses and programs available to science and engineering students from external organizations and FAU.

The Latest

  • Digital bulletin board of the Department of Physics

Providing appropriate information for students is difficult in times of online teaching. Notices in the buildings cannot be read due to lack of presence, informal exchange over lunch in the cafeteria is not possible, and information events may not be held in presence. With the establishment of a bulletin board on StudOn, the Department of Physics has created a central (virtual) information platform to remedy this situation. It is primarily directed at the target group of students and (future) scientific employees and is divided into the following areas:

    • Offers for research projects and theses
    • Job offers
    • Information on study programs
    • Information on scholarships and awards

In general, the bulletin board can be viewed by anyone with a StudOn account but unfortunately most of the information on there is only available in German.

Permanent Offers

  • English courses for foreign students

The Language Centre offers several German courses for foreign students which are available to all students enrolled at FAU. More information can be found on the webpage of the FAU language centre.
