FSI meetings

Please note that our meetings only take place in German. If your are an international you won't be able to participate in our meetings.

Our meetings always take place on Wednesdays at 6.00 pm. During the semester, they are held in the FSI room in the Department of Mathematics (Room 00.209) on odd calendar weeks and in the FSI room in the Department of Physics (Room U1.833) on even calendar weeks.

At the meetings, we discuss everything that is currently on the agenda. This usually begins with reports from the various committees, where our representatives help shape university life and seek input for their committee work during the meetings. Then the focus often shifts to larger projects and initiatives currently underway in the departments and the faculty. We are always happy to get involved if any mischief is afoot or if a student statement is required. In addition, there are of course always a number of festivities of varying scales to organise, which we discuss and coordinate during the meetings.

On the whole, routine work and discussions about current events are in balance, and every now and then we get to make a policy decision or have a heated debate. In the end, the meeting usually wraps up with interesting conversations and plenty of good humour.
