Contact

The FSI rooms are not always occupied. However, you are always welcome to drop by or give us a call during our office hours or at our meetings. You can find our office hours in the sidebar on the right. Our meetings are always on Wednesdays at 6 pm, in the Physics Room during even calendar weeks and in the Maths Room during odd weeks. Otherwise, you can simply pop in to see if anyone is there. You can find the rooms:

In the physics building: Room U1.833 below Lecture Hall F. Simply turn down the stairs at the entrance to Lecture Hall G and then turn left, not right towards the vending machines.

In maths building: Room 00.209, located beneath the upper entrance to H11. The room is next to the toilets by the northern glass facade.

Channels

In addition to our website and Instagram, we host a large WhatsApp community with year groups for our degree programmes, an events group, a memes group and a general discussion group. If you’d like to join our community, you’ll find the link either on the toilet roll at the start of the semester, or you can simply message us or speak to us. We’ll be happy to add you.

Our group rules:

  1. Treat each other with respect
  2. No harassment
  3. No commercial advertising

Violations and/or repeated problematic behaviour will result in measures ranging from warnings to expulsion.

Messages to the FSI

Anonymous messages to the FSI

If you’d like to contact us anonymously, you can pop a letter into one of the postboxes in the Mathematics Building, room 00.351. When you’re standing by the lifts in the Mathematics Building, there’s a sign for the “Mathematics and Computer Science Post Office” to the right of the entrance to the Mathematics Library, Computer Science and RRZE. Just follow that! You can either post your letter in the FSI postbox itself – in which case everyone will see it – or in our suggestion box, the contents of which are only seen by one of our trusted representatives.
